Telehealth and Online Physio Consults

Telehealth video consultations are available from our physiotherapists and are delivered online to you in the comfort and safety of your own home.

It’s simple and easy to use and is a very effective way to keep your rehab and treatment moving forward.

We use Phyitrack and the PhysiApp to stream the consultation for video consultations and to provide you with home exercise programs.

What you will need for your online consultation.

You will need a working internet connection and the PhysiApp installed onto the device you would like to use.
The consult can be streamed on any Apple or Android device including smartphones, tablets, as well as laptop and desktop computers.


Why Telehealth

Often patients may be unable to attend the clinic due to illness or injury, or may be concerned about attending the clinic during the current COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally it is great alternative for those who may find it difficult to attend due to living in rural areas or have very busy work or family lives.

Before Your  Telehealth Consultation

Please download the PhysiApp app onto your device before the consultation and await your unique login code if you are a new client to our practice

Make sure you have a reasonable space around you should your physiotherapist need you to perform some movement tests, and also some privacy in case you are concerned about relaying personal information. Please wear clothing appropriate for the physio to be able to view the motion and function of the affected area.

Prepayment is required for all Initial Telehealth consultations. This includes all new clients to our clinic, and previous clients who may have a new injury or have not been into the clinic for more than 6 months. Payment can be made via our website using our secure online Stripe payment platform, or by calling our reception on 5438 9111

Step 2. Pay For Your Online Consultation.

For your convenience you can pay online via our secure payment gateway  via the trusted “stripe”gateway. Click the button below to pay via our secure payment gateway.

Alternatively you can call our clinic on 5438 9111 and pay over the phone via credit card.

Please note, payment is required before your Telehealth Physiotherapy consultation.

Step 3. Book your Telehealth appointment online.

Select the physiotherapist that you would like to have your online consultation with. Currently we have three experienced Physiotherapists that offer Virtual Physiotherapy consultations. Please read below and make your selection.

B. Sc. Physiotherapy 

David grew up in Canberra with some postings in Asia and attended the University of Canberra and graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy.

David is passionate about helping people overcome injuries, taking care to return to a point to avoid future reoccurrence. David’s interest areas include musculoskeletal injuries particularly in the back and legs. Having previously completed his Level 1 Sports trainer, he has an interest in managing sporting injuries and injury prevention.

Outside of work David’s interests lie in doing triathlons and enjoying a good coffee.

David  interest areas include General Physiotherapy, Sports Physio, Back & Lower Limb Injuries .

Lucy Thomas – PhysiotherapistLucy Thomas - Physiotherapist

B.Sc.Physiotherapy (Hons)

Lucy graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2009 and chose to specialise in private musculoskeletal physiotherapy immediately, helping many patients achieve pain free living. She has extensive experience in treating a range of injuries including sports, work-related, post-surgery and chronic degenerative conditions. She has been part of the medical team at the London Marathon, international athletics competitions and national university athletics championships.

Lucy has also worked closely with GPs in the UK, providing musculoskeletal based education and training as part of their professionals development programmes.

Lucy developed an interest in physiotherapy through being an athlete and suffering numerous injuries herself. She has represented England in Athletics and was British Universities steeplechase champion. These days, Lucy competes in local triathlons and chases around after her young daughter!

Lucy’s interest areas are: Neck and Back Injuries, Sporting injuries, Biomechanical lower limb conditions (Knee, Foot and Ankle), Pelvic Floor dysfunction and Pre/Post Pregnancy Physiotherapy.

Daniel Clout – PhysiotherapistDaniel Clout - Physiotherapist

B. Exercise Science

Masters of Physiotherapy Studies.


Dan has completed both a Exercise Science and Master of Physiotherapy degrees, both studying on the Sunshine Coast and in Sydney.

Working in private practice since graduating Dan has interest  in treating shoulder and hip impingement, patellofemoral pain, neck pain, and headaches, but he also enjoys treating all presentations and also
helping patients in prehabilitation/rehabilitation after surgery.

Dan’s interest areas include Shoulders, General Physiotherapy, Neck Pain & Headaches, Pelvis & Knees.

Step 4. Download The PhysiApp To Your Device.

You will need to download the PhysiApp prior to your consult.

You may need to go into the settings in the PhysiApp app and allow access to the microphone and camera, so that the physiotherapist can hear and see you during the consult.

Step 5. Read Your Welcome Email For Instructions

Once you have completed your registration form, booked and paid for your appointment you will receive a welcome email and phone call from our admin team to answer any questions and make sure everything is working and ready for your online Physiotherapy consult.

Step 6. Have Your Online Physio Consult

It’s just like attending a face to face consult. We will find out your injury history, get clear on your goals, assess your movement, give you a provisional diagnosis and then implement a detailed treatment and exercise plan.

Step 7. Implement Your Treatment Plan & Review Your Progress.

Working together we will then book your future appointments if required, review your progress and work with you together to get you better.
