Why this course is for you.

This course helps women take charge of their pregnancy.

By the end, you will feel confident and empowered with information that will help to guide you and your birth team through your pregnancy and into your postpartum journey.

The course provides a supportive, safe environment to guide you through your pregnancy, share your journey with other mums-to-be, and encourage you to ask questions or share concerns you may have. 

We will help women strengthen their child-bearing related muscle groups, including pelvic floor, abdominals, glutes and postural muscle. We will stretch and mobilise areas of the body we know prone to stiffness or tightness during pregnancy to leave you walking out of each class feeling good.

Our women’s health physiotherapists will educate you on your body changes during pregnancy and how to best manage them. They will also give advice on labour and how to prepare in the 6 weeks postpartum leading up to your postpartum physiotherapy check.

Course details.

The 6-week Pregnancy & Pelvic Floor program is available in a private one-on-one setting and a small group-based setting for your convenience.

The private one on one based program is available in all of our clinics from Monday to Friday and can be booked for a time that suits you.

Our group-based program is available in our Birtinya clinic on Mondays between 5 pm and 6 pm.

Private Health rebates are available for patients with relevant cover.
